The exact process that Amazon Herb Company uses to process the herbs is called the Spagyric Process. This involves soaking the raw herbs in water and pure grain alcohol for as much as 4 weeks, to "pre-digest" the cell walls and allow access to otherwise insoluble elements.
Next, the plant fiber is removed and reduced to an alkaline ash.

What's the difference between capsules and liquids?
Amazon Herb Company capsule products are dried and ground herbs that are then sprayed with the liquid tincture. As it dries, the alcohol evaporates, leaving an alcohol-free powder product. The capsules are somewhat comparable to time-released because they are absorbed through digestion.
Amazon Herb Company liquid products are tinctures (which contain all minerals and elements of the herbs) that include alcohol. They are faster-acting and more readily absorbed because they by-pass the digestion process in the body.
Capsules are A) more convenient for some people; B) preferred for those who do not enjoy the taste of the herbs (though many of them are pleasant); C) absorbed by the body slighly slower (similar to time-release) and D) contain no alcohol, so should be used by persons seeking to avoid alcohol such as pregnant women.

Why is alcohol in the products?

How soon can I expect to see results?

Could I have a "reaction" to the products?
In some cases, people may experience a healing process (reaction) stimulated by the body's metabolic response. People may confuse these signs - such as skin rash, fatigue, stiff or aching joints, sinus drainage, or flu-like symptoms - with illness.
These usually indicate that toxins are being eliminated from congested tissue.
If you do start a healing process, reduce the use of these products for a few days while drinking at least 2 to 3 quarts of water daily (adults). This will normally eliminate the rebuilding and elimination process within a few days. At that point, you may being to gradually reintroduce the herbs back into your diet.
