An Introduction to the Rainforest Health Pack

As a Naturopathic Medical Doctor, I'm proud to have been part of an international team of health practitioners who worked to develop the Amazon Herb Company's Rainforest Health Pack.

The Lymphatic System is the septic tank and drain-field of the body (a graphic but helpful way to understand its function) as well as the biggest donor of antioxidants. The lymphatic fluid by means of the lymph nodes and spleen help remove the invading microbes and viruses, and flush toxins and excess fluids from the body.

These waste-carrying fluids are further processed and eliminated through the Urinary System - the kidneys and bladder. An overload in the Lymphatic System causes a back up and overflow of toxins that linger in the body. Skin disorders are often a result of this toxic overflow pouring out through the epidermis.

Fiberzon, Fiberzon Plus and the Digestive System:
Our organs of digestion - beginning with the mouth, esophagus and stomach, and proceeding to the small intestine and large intestine (colon), liver, gall bladder and pancreas are vital mechanisms in maintaining our health as they convert air, food and water into building materials for living tissue. They also break down food, absorb nutrients eliminate waste. With the over-processed, nutrient-depleted foods of our culture and the rising presence of bacteria, virus, and environmental toxins, it's more important than ever that we assist our digestive system -- particularly our colon.

A toxic colon can be responsible for poisons and toxins in the whole body. The portal vein, which wraps itself around the colon, helps reduce toxic overload of the colon by absorbing the waste and transporting it back to the liver. When the liver is overloaded with wastes, it spills over into other body systems. While invading the liver, the toxins can become the cause of headaches, allergies, sinus problems, hormonal imbalances and the like.
